In America, 9/11 is a day of grief.  For Adam and Sharri Maio Schefter and their family it’s not just a day of grief, but also hope.  Join Adam Schefter and Terrorism Therapist Dr. Carole Lieberman as they offer their very unique persepctives on 9/11.  Adam is one of the biggest names in sports media as a sportswriter and TV analyst on ESPN's NFL Insider.  His new memoir, THE MAN I NEVER MET: A MEMOIR, shares his powerful true story of Joe Maio, who on September 11, 2001 went to work in the World Trade Center.  Maio never returned, leaving behind a wife, Sharri, and 15-month old son, Devon.  Five years later, Sharri remarried Adam Schefter, and Devon welcomed a new dad into his life.  Schefter tells a story of 9/11, but also the story of 9/12 and all the days after.  Life moved on.  Pieces were picked up.  New dreams were dreamed.  The Schefters are the embodiment of that and Adam shares their moving story.  He will be joined on stage by Dr. Carole Lieberman - the 'Terrorism Therapist' - as she discusses her unique children's books that teach parents how to discuss terrorism with their children.  She recently won awards at the London Book Festival.
