Bookexpo Turns Focus on Librarians with New and Expanded Programming Designed to Educate and Assist Vital Audience

Panels, Lounge, and Ticket Promotions Unveiled Exclusively for Librarians

NORWALK, CT – May 17, 2018 – Today, the reimagined BookExpo unveiled the full slate of library programming available at the show this year. The enhanced focus on librarians is meant to address and cater to an audience crucial to the success of the publishing industry. Offerings for librarians include an expanded Librarian Lounge, curated programming, and ticket discounts.

Sponsored by Publishers Weekly, the Librarian Lounge is available exclusively to librarians and will be open on Thursday, May 31 from 9am – 6pm and on Friday, June 1 from 9am – 5pm. The expanded Lounge offers a place for librarians to unwind, recharge and refresh, with sponsored meals and exciting opportunities to skip the lines, meet authors and editors and pick up galleys in a relaxing and fun environment. BookExpo 2018 will also feature a full slate of panels and events targeting librarians and educators, including:
