2009 Call For Papers

BookExpo America needs the best, the brightest and the most innovative leaders in book publishing to present their ideas at the upcoming BEA educational conference program. If you have an idea for a program we want to hear it! All ideas will be vetted by our advisory board in an effort to put forth the most effective and cutting edge sessions possible.

The BEA educational program targets all industry members including publishers, booksellers, librarians, agents, and authors. If you are an industry professional and interested in presenting a session, roundtable or workshop at this years show, we would love to hear from you.

Please complete the form below or attach to your written proposal. All requested information must be supplied. Please organize your proposal in the same order as the information requested below.

Speakers Requirements:
  1. We require speakers to share their information in an educational, non-commercial and non-self-promotional manner.
  2. We require our speakers to provide handouts to session attendees.
  3. We highly recommend the use of audio/visual support.
  4. If your session is selected, all panelists must be confirmed by the promotion deadline. Should a proposed panelist not be available, replacements of similar level and qualification are the responsibility of the proposal author.
  5. Speakers must present in the time slot and format assigned by the Director of Education.
