How much does it cost to attend BookExpo?

Pricing is based on what Badge category you fall into. Registration for BookExpo 2017 is now open.

What does my registration include?

Your Attendee Show Badge gives you access to:

  • The largest show floor in North America
  • Autographing Sessions highlighting 500+ authors.
  • BookExpo Conferences
  • Access to exclusive Show Specials onsite
  • Access to Special Segment Areas on the Show Floor

When will I receive my attendee badge?

We do not mail badges before the show. Simply print the email confirmation you receive when you complete the registration process and bring it with you to Javits Center, New York City. When you get to the show, you'll quickly scan the barcode at the top of the confirmation and your badge will print automatically along with the tickets for special events you have signed up for.

What’s the refund policy?

Tickets and/or badges (“Badges”) for the event (“Event”) are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. The unauthorized resale or attempted resale of the Badge is prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the Badge without compensation. Each Badge must be used by the same person (the “Attendee”) for each day of the Event. The Event’s operating hours, schedules, guests and speakers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Each Badge is a revocable license to attend the Event. All panels, autographing, photo ops, special events, show features and performances are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed and/or may require an additional fee. ReedPOP is not responsible for lost or stolen Badges. The Attendee acknowledges there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to Attendees of the Event and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. By accepting this Badge and attending the Event, the Attendee freely and voluntarily agrees to assume the full risk of bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, or death that Attendee may sustain as a result of attending the Event, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of ReedPOP.

I am an international attendee, how do I receive a nonimmigrant
Visa Invitation Letter?

If you are wishing to be an international attendee and are in need of an official Letter of Invitation, you will be prompted to request one during the registration process. For any questions, contact us toll free at 800-840-5614 or international at 203-840-5614.

When are the exhibits, conferences, and special events open?

2018 schedule information is coming soon.

Can I bring a rolling cart to carry books?

No. Carts, luggage on wheels, and empty strollers will NOT be allowed in the exhibit hall during show hours. Exhibitors needing such items for legitimate business purposes will be allowed access at the opening and closing of business each day. This is a safety issue and no exceptions will be made.

Can I bring my child to BookExpo?

BookExpo is a trade event and does not provide attendees with Tickets for their children or Guests.

Do you allow consumers?

No, BookExpo is a trade-only event. Consumers can attend BookCon. Please visit the BookCon web site for more information.

Does the ABA have conference sessions?

Yes, the ABA will have conference sessions taking place during BookExpo. 2017 session information coming soon.

What if I'm harassed?

Harassment of any kind, including stalking, deliberate intimidation, unwelcome physical attention, physical assault, and battery, will not be tolerated at BookExpo. If it's illegal outside the exhibition venue, it's illegal inside the exhibition venue. Harassment is grounds for removal from BookExpo without refund as well as potential legal action. We want BookExpo to be a safe, open, and accepting environment for all exhibitors and attendees, and if you find yourself victim of harassment at BookExpo, please come immediately to BookExpo’s Show Office.
