ABA Education and Events

In 2014, ABA moves beyond previous years’ single Day of Education, and expands its programming, networking and special events to take place over all four days of the show. In addition to traditional educational offerings—some co-created with BEA—ABA Education delivers two opportunities to maximize this year’s focus on interactions between publishers and booksellers: Meet the Editor and One-on-One Publisher Meetings. Education sessions developed jointly with BEA include Common Core: Update for Booksellers and Librarians, The Future of Brick and Mortar Retailing, How to Manage Social Media with HootSuite, and more.

ABA Members-Only Special Events & Programming

  • Bookseller/Publisher Networking: Meet the Editor and One on One Publisher Meetings
  • ABC Children’s Group Members-Only Illustrator Tour, Speed Dating Lunch & Author Tea (additional fees apply)
  • Celebration of Bookselling and Author Awards Lunch
