"I am sure Tina Brown will lead a stimulating discussion that will focus not only on the hard economic times that we are all facing, but also on how the book industry may come together to seize innovation and foster creativity."
The CEO Roundtable with Tina Brown is a signature part of "Big Ideas at BEA", BEA's own conference program which has been streamlined in order to provide more focus and continuity while at the same time adding variety and cultural diversity. Other programming includes several high profile sessions on social media, new media investments, ecosystems marketing for publishers, digital technologies, and data trends. In addition, this year, BEA's Global Market Forum will concentrate on educational panels and cultural programs devoted to Arab world publishers and booksellers. As previously announced, BEA's Author Stages will carry a range of programming including many high profile author interview panels, individual author presentations, as well as a panel on new media, including a presentation of the latest in digital services, tools and ebook readers.
