ABA Day of Education

ABA Day of Education Held at BookExpo America (BEA) Venue
Open to ALL BEA Attendees (You must register through BEA)
Tuesday, May 25, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center

The American Booksellers Association's eighth annual Day of Education will be held once again at the Jacob K. Javits Center as part of a series of innovations designed to invigorate BEA and give booksellers and other industry professionals more networking opportunities. Sponsored by Ingram Book Group/Ingram Publisher Services, the ABA Day of Education will be held on Tuesday, May 25, the day before the BEA exhibit floor opens.

Bookselling is an extraordinary profession, one that appeals to an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to enrich one's community. The ABA's learning sessions are designed to help bookstores achieve profitability, differentiate themselves from their competition, and adapt to a constantly evolving retail landscape. The Day of Education continues and builds upon the program begun at ABA’s Winter Institute in San Jose, California, this past February. The Day of Education curriculum also includes programming for children’s booksellers from the Association of Booksellers for Children. Watch for updates on www.BookWeb.org and in Bookselling This Week.

NOTE: Due to the shortened time frame, ABA has eliminated a formal luncheon program.
