BEA Conference Program
Featuring fresh sessions where you'll learn about the latest trends, developments, and technologies affecting the book industry, the BEA Conference Program is the best place for you to discover new ideas and practical solutions and connect with industry leaders to help you survive and thrive in today's business.
ABA Education at BookExpo America (BEA)
In 2014, ABA moved beyond previous years’ single Day of Education, and expanded its programming, networking, and special events to take place over all four days of the show. In addition to traditional educational offerings—some co-created with BEA—ABA Education delivered two opportunities to maximize focus on interactions between publishers and booksellers: Meet the Editor and One-on-One Publisher Meetings. Education sessions developed jointly with BEA included “Common Core: Update for Booksellers and Librarians,” “The Future of Brick and Mortar Retailing,” “How to Manage Social Media with HootSuite,” and more. View the full 2014 schedule of ABA education, events, and recommended BEA programming, on the ABA Web site.
Help Us Continue to Enhance the BEA Conference Program
We want to continue to enhance and evolve the BEA Conference Program each year to ensure it meets your needs. To help us do that, we will be collecting information on how much traffic each session gets by scanning badges at the door and will be handing out session evaluations after each session. Please be sure your badge is scanned at the door and that you take a few minutes to complete the evaluations. This feedback helps us to tailor the sessions each year by knowing which ones are popular or not so we can refine for the next year. Thank you!
